Komorebi 2020 was a special fourth edition: due to the pandemic outbreak, it could not take place as planned, and thus resulted in a day that Francesco's family and friends decided to spend together, without opening to the public. However, this year's reminder of Francesco's hymn to life was a beautiful illustration, which perfectly represents the bond between Francesco and Japan and between Francesco and his loved ones. Each sector of the illustration represents an important stage of his journey: his departure from Apulia, the journey from the airport to his new home with his Japanese father, his new school and typical foods, his favourite video games and anime, the meeting with the Buddhist monk, the return to Italy with the consequent train accident. It is here that Francesco's red thread breaks, and it is here that his family and friends take him back to continue with the Association, Komorebi and the other projects.
